It is this kind of creative inspiration that is indigenous to PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet, a blue-based purple that takes our awareness and potential to a higher level. A colour that often divides many, it is certainly a bold move from the colour institute, and why not follow their lead?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause it\u2019s such a lush, deeply saturated hue, Ultra Violet has a large impact even in small doses,\u201d says Jennifer Ott of Jennifer Ott Design. The colour can be used as an eye-catching accent (think a textured armchair or lounge) or as a muted feature wall, offset by other low-key hues such as dusky plums and blues.
