We\u2019ve put together a list of handy links that we hope will be helpful to you in navigating the weeks ahead, should you need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nationwide Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.servicesaustralia.gov.au\/individuals\/services\/centrelink\/covid-19-disaster-payment\">COVID - 19 Disaster payment<\/a>&nbsp;- This is a lump sum payment to help those unable to earn income due to a COVID-19 lockdown, hotspot or period of restricted movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NSW Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.service.nsw.gov.au\/covid-19\/financial-support-individuals-and-households\">Support for individuals and households<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.service.nsw.gov.au\/campaign\/covid-19-help-businesses\/grants-loans-and-financial-assistance\">Support for businesses<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.servicesaustralia.gov.au\/individuals\/services\/centrelink\/pandemic-leave-disaster-payment-new-south-wales\">Pandemic leave disaster payment - NSW<\/a> - Support if you live in New South Wales and can't earn an income because you must self-isolate or quarantine, or are caring for someone with COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/disasterassistance.service.nsw.gov.au\/covid\">COVID - 19 assistance finder<\/a> - A handy, 2-minute questionnaire that provides you with a list of benefits and services in health and wellbeing, employment, skills and training, food, housing and finances - tailored specifically for you or your business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">VIC Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au\/financial-and-other-support-coronavirus-covid-19#families-and-individuals\">Support for families and individuals<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au\/financial-and-other-support-coronavirus-covid-19#business-and-industry\">Support for businesses<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.servicesaustralia.gov.au\/individuals\/services\/centrelink\/pandemic-leave-disaster-payment-victoria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pandemic leave disaster payment - VIC<\/a> - A one-off payment to help Victorian workers who have been directed to self-isolate or quarantine for 14 days, or care for someone who has been directed to self-isolate or quarantine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au\/450-coronavirus-covid-19-test-isolation-payment\">Covid test isolation payment<\/a> - For those in VIC who have had a COVID-19 test and are isolating until they receive results, meaning they cannot go to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Loan repayment support + financial hardship<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are experiencing financial difficulty or think you might experience difficulty soon&nbsp; that will affect your ability to make loan repayments, we want you to know that there are options available to you. All banks in Australia have a financial hardship department and they are available to help tailor a temporary solution to help you through a period of financial difficulty. <a href=\"https:\/\/mozo.com.au\/home-loans\/articles\/big-banks-support-sydney-customers-facing-hardship-during-lockdown\">The major banks have outlined a range of existing options that might help ease the stress many customers are facing due to the recent COVID-19 lockdown measures in NSW here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arrangements such as a repayment pause, or extension of your loan term, are some of the most common arrangements that can be made. If you feel like you need some temporary support, then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/contact\/\">please reach out to us<\/a> and we\u2019ll help you get the process started. It\u2019s important to note that applying for financial hardship does not affect your credit rating, and is a confidential arrangement between you and your lender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those experiencing extreme <a href=\"https:\/\/financialrights.org.au\/factsheets\/financial-hardship\/\">financial hardship<\/a>, you can access free, financial counselling and support <a href=\"https:\/\/ndh.org.au\/talk-to-a-financial-counsellor\/what-is-financial-counselling\/\">here<\/a>.
