So, if you\u2019re a small, self funded start up, it pays to have a point of difference. Which Glider Cafe has, in spades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The original Glider caf\u00e9 in Potts Point, and now a sister eatery in the city\u2019s newest (and hippest) laneway development \u2018Kensington St\u2019 are the brain child of Mark and his wife, Pla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After living in Thailand for several years, and rather impressively, having never worked in hospitality before, the couple decided to open their first venture in Potts Point with nothing more than a credit card and an idea to bring Pla\u2019s traditional Thai family recipes to Sydney\u2019s Brunch scene.<br>It was a winning combo, merging 2 of Sydney\u2019s latest love affairs: Brunching and Thai street food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2880\" height=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/purefinance.thefriendlyagency.com\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20671\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance.png 2880w, https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance-840x560.png 840w, https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance-1720x1147.png 1720w, https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance-992x661.png 992w, https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/www.purefinance.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Glider_Pure-Finance-544x363.png 544w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2880px) 100vw, 2880px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The venture was a huge success and soon, the pair had plans to open their second establishment \u2018Glider KS\u2019. Only this time, Pure Finance were there to lend a financial hand, and take away some of the stress associated with starting a brand new business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both places adopt the same food and aesthetic and Sydney is loving it.
