Sample coffee is everything the name suggests. Offering a delicious selection of single origins, they predominantly ‘do coffee’ and do it very well. With an impressive list of brewing methods, the whole operation is expertly overseen by Rueben, who travels regularly to Colombia and Ethiopia to hand select the beans himself.
Located in Surry Hills, and now with a second location in St Peters, the guys and gals at Sample take their coffee seriously. . . but not too seriously.
Not content with having extensive blends and multiple brewing methods, Rueben decided the next step was to be roasting his own beans on site. Hence, Sample became the proud owners of a 1957 Probat UG15 roaster. If that’s lost on a few of you (like us) just know that it’s a really, really, REALLY good coffee roaster.
Made in Germany, and then imported to Sample headquarters via Poland, Pure Finance was excited to lend a hand in helping to finance this exciting step in the Sample story.
